RD Construction, delivering the second phase of construction on the residential neighborhood Zagorodny Kvartal, commissioned Building #20 ahead of schedule and continues works on four other buildings also ahead of schedule.
According to the plan, Building 20 was to be commissioned in four months after the beginning of the works; however, it took the builders only two months to complete their work. At the present moment fit-out of the facades of buildings #17 and #18 is close to completion, their commissioning planned before July 30. Works on buildings #15 and #16 will be restarted after a pause; the planned time of their commissioning is towards the end of 2016.
In the construction of houses and townhouses the company uses the system of vented facades made of ceramic granite as well as urethane-foam roof which facilitates heat conservation in the premises, at the same time preventing dampness and overheating in hot weather. The given technologies, along with effective engineering equipment, do not only maintain a salubrious climate indoors under any weather conditions, but also ensure significant savings on energy resources.
Zagorodny Kvartal is a low-rise residential development with extensive infrastructure, located in the city district of Khimki, 8 km past the Moscow Ring Road. RD Construction is building 29 townhouses and three capital houses with underground parking.
The general development concept was suggested by the world’s leading urban planner: California-based Calthorpe Associates whose architects specialize in the integrated development of territories, and have already brought to fruition a number of large-scale projects in the US, Europe and Asia.
In June 2014 this housing estate won the Real Estate Market Records Awards in the nomination Best Low-Rise Development.
