Stricken by the crisis, developers and general contractors are looking for ways to optimize design solutions. Following the results of 2015, RD Construction’s Analytics Center figured out where import replacement might be possible in any particular project without compromising its quality.
According to experts, about 90% of materials used in the construction of budget-class houses are manufactured in Russia. “Successfully replaced with homemade analogues nowadays are ventilation and firefighting systems, insulating as well as shell and core fit-out materials,” quotes the periodical.
The experience of RD Construction shows: the optimization of all design solutions, including the import replacement, subsequent delivery by a professional general contractor may save up to 12% of construction costs for the builder.
